Sam Fender: The Borders

Releasing the final track from his highly anticipated debut album, Sam Fender unveils the chest-punching release of ‘The Borders’. Saving the best till last (according to a press release) and storming into the song with a deeply personal narrative, it’s no wonder this is one of Fenders personal favourites.


Courteeners: Heavy Jacket

Speaking of highly anticipated, Courteeners release their first single since 2016 with ‘Heavy Jacket’. Keeping our hearts ticking for the love of Manchester, the trio have also announced their follow-up to ‘Mapping The Rendezvous’ with ‘More. Again. Forever’ packed with 10 tracks and two arena tours. Shrieks of excitement can be heard across Manchester and London at 12am if you listen closely.
 

Foals: The Runner

Foals mesmerise with their newest self-produced release ‘The Runner’. With lead guitarist Yannis’ calling it “a call to find a sense of purpose and perseverance despite the odds and despite the troubles we may find inside or outside ourselves.”
 

NOVACUB: Strike 

In anticipation for their upcoming tour with The LaFontaines, NOVACUB share their latest single ‘Strike’ after its previous appearances on BBC Introducing Wales, as well as John Kennedy’s Radio X show. Their latest video leaves little to the imagination of just how much fun this band has.
 

Blood Orange: Dark & Handsome | A COLOR SHOW

Bringing another intimate performance to the fore-ground, Blood Orange debuts a chromatic performance of ‘Dark & Handsome’ from his previous project. Clinging to a bouquet of lilac and white flowers, Orange envelopes us in a wave of calm before the storm.

Norwegian newcomer girl in red celebrates the release her second project ‘chapter 2’ with the unveiling of ‘bad idea!’ as her latest lead single. Laden with instinctively ear-worming riffs, girl in red lays it all on the floor, detailing the negative aspects of an unfortunate affair., explaining that “…for me ‘bad idea’ is about wanting something very intensely and going for it without thinking about the consequences.”
 

The Snuts: Maybe California 

From Glasgow, to the city of stars, The Snuts share their brand new single ‘Maybe California’. Inclusive of traditional indie back-beats and heart-tackled lyricism, The Snuts create the ideal soundtrack welcoming the crisp Autumn winds that make us question our summer motives.


Barns Courtney: Fun Never Ends

Loud, lively and unapologetic, Barns Courtney returns with ‘Fun Never Ends’ from his first album in two years ‘404’. Sure to get your blood pumping for the weekend, this track is only a nugget of the whole golden brick that’s captured within this album.

 

Circa Waves: Something More

Circa waves give us ‘Something More’ this Friday. Released from their recent EP ‘What’s That Over There?’, the latest single is a glimmering gem of happiness alongside a whisper of inspiration bringing back Circa Waves iconic sound.
 

The Sherlocks: Waiting

In anticipation for their second album, The Sherlocks have been drip feeding fans single by single including the latest appropriately titled track ‘Waiting’. After a busy summer of festival appearances, fans are eagerly awaiting to grip their claws upon the full release but will be hanging by the pads of their paws until October.
