Description
Dog Bark for Hire
Much like a lions roar, the dog bark is produced using a small tom-tom with a single head being removed. A thin gut cord is then attached to the centre of the remaining head and this hangs down below the level of the bass of the drum once inverted. To create the sound of the dog, a scritching pad is needed (green one, not yellow) and this is folded over the gut cord. A pull on the cord will give the required dog sound. The sharper the tug the smaller the dog (terrier like). A long pull will give a Great Dane.
