Sand and Tray for Hire

This is a very simple yet effective means of making a sound involving sand. The tray should have ribbed graduations starting small and then the ribs growing to something larger. A painters roller tray is about the correct size. Sand from a child's sand pit has the sandiest and grittiest sound. However, care must be taken not to include excrement from the sand pit as this can be highly toxic in enclosed situations.
