Debain invented the harmonium as we know it today. This instrument retains the classic features of the original – guts, character and not too much refinement – which will suit anyone looking for "real" harmonium sound. Particularly appropriate for the Rossini Petite Messe Solennelle, which was premiered on a Debain instrument.
