Stopwatch for Hire

Used in tens, the stopwatch has had limited use and success as a percussion instrument within 20th century repertoire. It's dual purpose role has only really been effective in timings of ensemble pieces that use space to achieve the correct musical result. It's secondary role has been dissapointing as when struck the sound is unusually dead and unresonant. This may be due to the fact that it is a plastic stopwatch.
