Wind Machine for Hire

Many composers have written for the wind machine. One of the most famous works that utilises the effective sound is The Alpine Symphony by Richard Strauss. The design is very simple - a cylindrical slatted chamber is attached to a frame with a material sheet strung tightly over the chamber. At one end of the chamber a handle is used for rotation thus producing an extremely realistic windy sound.
