Bell Percussion was founded as a rental business in 1990 and since then has grown to become one of the World's leading music hire companies. Based in west London, we have spent the last two decades developing and diversifying into sales, transport, studios and repairs. From beginners to seasoned professionals, we provide expert knowledge along with competitive prices for every percussive need. We pride ourselves on the professional quality of our hire instruments with our ‘anything is possible’ mentality remaining to this day. We have always worked to a guiding principle of customer service and attention to detail. Twenty years on, Bell Percussion is still carefully nurtured as an independently run family business.

We are not only a classical and session supplier but we also provide the wild and various instruments and equipment for many of the film soundtracks recorded in the UK such as the Lord of the Rings Trilogy and the Harry Potter films recorded at Abbey Road and Air Studios. We have also recently expanded into backine, staging and invested in our fleet of orchestral furniture.

1992

Outgrows Hillingdon and for the first time, signs a lease and moves into its own 2000sqf premises in Isleworth.

1993

Still in Isleworth, the staff rise to 3

1995

Agrees terms on a new freehold property in Acton and commences work to expand the hire department and shop and create three rehearsal studios and a restaurant. Staff rise to 4

1996

April 1^st 1996 – Bell Studios launch

2004

The studio site is cut into two halves to concentrate on percussion hire and sales. Staff rise to 5.

2014

After the silly idea in 2004 a new 6500sqf property is acquired adjacent to the original building. New studios are created in both buildings with an expanded hire department and shop.
