The bass drum with clash cymbal attachment is a handy way to play clash cymbals and bass drum at the same time with just 1 player. One of the cymbals is mounted upside down on top of the bass drum, the other cymbal is then clashed against it whilst the bass drum can be played with the other hand. Damping the bass drum and cymbals is more of a challenge as you have to dampen one of the cymbals against your chest, grab the mounted cymbal with the hand that your bass drum mallet is in and dampen the drum with your knee.
