Description

Indian Harmonium for Hire

The Indian harmonium is a free-standing keyboard instrument similar to a reed organ. Sound is produced by air, supplied by foot-operated or hand-operated bellows, being blown through sets of free reeds, resulting in a sound similar to that of an accordion. The harmonium was invented in Paris in 1842 and was brought to North India by the British during the colonial period.

This is a medium range harmonium made with quality workmanship and materials. It has two sets, bass and male brass reeds, a shaped cover, 4 air control knobs, one trembler, 4 drones, a multi-fold bellow and 39 keys C to D key board (3 1/4 octaves).
