Pin chimes for Hire
Our Pin Chimes are the small hardened metal pins that are found in pianos. If grouped together in clusters a very high pitched tinkling can be heard. Although this sound can cut through thin orchestration, Pin Chimes are only really used in recording work when they can be close miked. To avoid performance disasters, permission should be sought before extraction of the piano pins.
